SINUMERIK 840D with 400260 alarms

lmhhit Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	My system is SINUMERIK 840D. Sometimes when I start the system, I the system with the alarm400260. I don't know what is wrong with it. Please who knows how to deal it, tell me the way. Thank you very much!

SteveJ Posts: 328 Rating: (29)	Dear Sir 400260 alarm, - Failure of machine control panel 1, usually means the MCP has failed, although, you should check the MPI connection between the MCP and the other connected devices first. Check to see if data transfer LED is flashing on MCP. Best Regards SteveJ

I also checked if data transfer LED is flashing on MCP => the led are not flashing. => fugitive emissions (the alarm 400260appears once a day (randomly)) Could you help me? Thank you! Arnaud

The MCP itself has a small power converter on the boader, when your m/c running 24/7, it will be getting hot and malfuctioning. you can also try to inastall a small fan toward the power converter on the back of MCP. or getting MCP+HMI unit an small A/C unit. good luck and hope you like Imhhit, post your feedback.
