After restore backup program in OP17 , still its shows 'ready for transfer'

V.Manivannan Posts: 29 Rating: (0)	Dear All I had the problem about the project transfering from PC to OP17 I used the SIEMENS stanard cable for transfering progrom from PC to OP17. 1. Connected PC and OP17, powered on. 2. From Basic Screen OP17, Pressed SYSTEM-->IF2-->Transfer-->Ready for Transfer. 3. Set all relative parameter on PC and started Restore. 4. Communication established and download was started 5. After finished downloading, the OP17 screed still stayed at "SIMATIC V1.04 Ready for transfer" please give your suggestion for to set right.

(par example just one screen) Or when you make a new project in ProTool, you choose OP17. Just click 'twice' on the button "Next" and select the option "Use standard project" (then click finish) Best regards, Wizard

Are you using a 'Real' Com port? (COM1 or COM2) you can not use a USB-Serial convertor Best regards, Wizard
