arain Posts: 61 Rating: (0)	hello i am using simoreg 6RA24 connected via profibus. i have to read control word and status word in manual P010ii (p10 is an index parameter) P10.01 is control word. but when i read parameter value by using drive monitor.it does not display index of P10. now wht shuold i do so that i can read control word and status word. see the attachement. Did you try to see the P010.01 on the drive control panel? There are 2 pairs of parameters to display the connector value: P043/P044 and P045/P046. You can set P044=315 (connector which contain status word) and see its value in P043.

arain Posts: 61 Rating: (0)	hey KSN i try to read the control word from parameter P045.P046 by entering the control word connector values. but the problem is that P045 display the value in %. when i enter the connector number k315 in P046, in P045 id display 11.9% .so this value is useless for me bc i can not convert it in HEX form. 2nd thing is that drive which i am studying it is runniing in MII (torque driection 2). so is there any parameter whcih select the torque direction ?? B/C setpoint which is giving to dirve is in +ve form .....

Hello. You can simply convert it to the HEX form: 100%=16384d=4000 H 11,9%=1950d=79E H

It seems there should be another conversion: in your case status of binary input 000101101011 = 363d (3.63%)= 16B H, so check the control word with the same manner: 11,9% = 1190d = 4A6 H =10010100110
