Hello Experts! I tried to install/upgrade SP3 to my Step 7 v5.5 in a VMware, but unfortunately, I got an error that totally inhibits the installation (please see attached pic). The strange thing is, I've just installed it successfully on my other VMware (a spare VMware that haven't been used yet), ergo, there must something wrong with the installed Step 7 to be upgraded, not with the SP3 installer. Hence, I've tried to uninstall the existing Step (and even delete the SIEMENS>Step 7 folder) to reinstall it again, but the problem just reoccurs. Perhaps I am missing something, maybe some other folder/application to delete/uninstall/reinstall. What do you think? Note: The purpose of installing SP3 is stated here:/tf/WW/en/Posts/97138#top. Actually, the software says it is already SP3, but I know that it isn't completed, since I still have the driver error (that which was already solved on my spare VMware upon successfully installing SP3). Thanks for any response!

Hello. Try to uninstall by this method: and then install again.

Did you think about to make a copy of working VM (spare VMWare) using menu VM-Manage-Clone? |
