Hello Dren; With a CP (Ethernet or Profibus) you have access to various functions that allow peer-to-peer exchanges between CPus, with varying size of data exchanges, such as BSend/BRcv, AGSend/AGRcv...So you could program your communications between all your CPUs quite easily that way. Note that if any one of the PLCs loses communication then the exchanges with this unit will be lost until it is reset. Normally the exchanges between the remaining CPUs should continuie without error. The following document discusses all issues of communications between CPUs, over different networks, with different cnnections and different communication functions.: CPU-CPU communicatoions with Simatic Controllers (Compendium) https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/20982954 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
