I just found something that said that C scripts are only availabe on RT Professional. The client bought a advanced RT liscence. I found my way around coding a VB script instead! thanks again!

The most important part is TIA WinCC version. Please just remember that WinCC TIA Advanced is same as previous WinCC Flex Advanced and it is HMI software. It supports VBS scripts. The new TIA WinCC Pro is SCADA system, same as good old WinCC and it supports both C and VBS. So don't mix between these two. HMIs does not support C script, only VBS.
