valyy Posts: 55 Rating: (0)	if i whant to migrate a project of WinCCFlex 2008 SP3 into TIA portal V13 i got the error: Either the migration is not installed in the TIA Portal or WinCC flexible SP2 / WinCC flexible SP3 is not installed. Check the installations and execute the migration again. how should i fix this?

v.kerstholt Posts: 58 Rating: (9)	In your installation of Wincc there is a checkbox to install the migration tool as well. But no problem, you can also open the Wincc install cd and open the Support directory. There is the installer SIMATIC_Migration_Tool_TIA_V13.exe That should do the trick. koenb Silver Member Joined: 6/26/2009 Last visit: 11/27/2024 Posts: 122 Rating: (23)	I have received this solution from the belgian support : 1) open project in step7 V5.x 2) File -> Save as -> “with reorganization (slow) -> Save with other name. 3) Rightmouse selection on blocks -> “check block consistency” -> Compile all for me i did the job.

I have the same problem, recently I read a s7-300 with the step7 Vs5.5 software and I have tried to make the migration from step7 software to TIA V12, but I have some problems, there are two ways to make the migration, only the program or all project including the hardware configuration, you should try make the migration only to program and if you don´t have any problems you activate the checkbox "including the hardware configuration" and if you have a problem is because some GSD files are missing. If not, expecting a different outcome with the same situation is not really something to complain or be frustratedabout. It's like bumping your head when you walk under a low hanging wind chime and not taking a different path the next time and getting upset when you bang your head because the wind chime is still there.
