Marcjan is correct, for this model. But you also have DC/DC/RLY andDC/DC/DC models.

So, more generally: CPU number 1st/2nd/3rd

In first position: the power supply voltage; 24 V DC or 120/230 V AC

In second place: the input type voltage: only 24 V DC available

In third position: the output type and power.

- DC: 24 V DC MOSFET transistor, 0.5 Amp max per channel;

- RLY: 5-30 V DC or 5-250 V AC relay, 2 Amps max. per channel

Have a look at the connection diagrams for the CPU 1214C in different connection types, as an attachment.

i mean  AC/DC/RLY  or DC/DC/DC or DC/DC/LY

with CPU number 

can you tell me which one is the good quality and best one for general purpose

This is the kind of question that can be answered only by your project and style of cabinet building, knowing that each model is of the same quality level.

In your control cabinet, do you usually include interposing relays to isolate transistor outputs of your PLC from field equipment because the loads can affect the relays (if so, choose DC outputs)? Or do you prefer connecting loads directly to the relay output of your PLC even knowing that relays have a lower lifetime than solid-state outputs (if so, choose relay outputs)?

Do you have a 24 VDC power supply in the cabinet to provided power to the PLC (select DC power connection), or simply a terminal block connected to regular AC power (select AC power connection)?
