Upgrade Licenses for PCS7 V6.1 SP1 to PCS7 V8.0

Dear Support

We are offering a system upgrade to one of our customer in UAE region, this upgrade is from PCS7 V6.1 SP1 to PCS7 Version 8.0 (or whichever is the latest one), this if for Server-4 no’s , OS- 2 No’s and ES- 2 No’s.

Can you please help us in selecting the appropriate upgrades licenses and software required for this migration.

You should have the part numbers of existing version or list of all licence installation (Existing) then you can easily find for upgrade licences in CA01.

 Correct point, the upgrade will be done in 2 steps as below.

You cant directly migrate from V6.1 to V8.0

First do the migration from V6.1 to V7.0 & then migrate from V7.0 to V8.0

1. you have to upgrade your Operating Sytem

2. Purchase Liecens Upgrade keys

Then upgrade from V7.1 to V8.1 (latest version)

Server:6ES7652-8BX18-0YE0

I do not know if you have redundant servers. If so you need different upgrade licenses for V7.1 to V8.1: 6ES7652-3BX18-2YE0. This license is valid for two servers.
