S7-1200 SM 1234, 4AI/2AO module, 0-20mA Input problem

sando Posts: 14 Rating: (3)	Greetings, I have a problem with S7-1200 SM 1234, 4AI/2AO module, i did all the required configuration on TIA Portal V12(adding the module to the rack, channel setting to 0-20mA, wiring and so on). But the problem is that all input channels read only (0001,0002,FFFF) values continuously (check attached pic)even though channel one is connected to pressure sensor (4-20mA) using external 24VDC PS other than PM 1207; and other channels are shorted. I tested the sensor connection by AVO meter mA input and it gives normal reading, so what do i miss? Notice: i tried this with both 6ES7 234-4HE30-0XB0 and 6ES7 234-4HE32-0XB0 but same problem occurred. My CPU: 6ES7 124-1AG31-0XB0 V3.0 Thanks Attachment AIO.png (370 Downloads)

BryanG2001 Posts: 113 Rating: (22)	So just to confirm that you have connected the AVO and there is a current flowing, but it isn't showing on the analogue unit. The most likely thing is a wiring problem, check your connections to the analogue unit, make sure that you haven't got the top and bottom rows of the terminals crossed. Then make sure that you have power to the analogue unit. Then use online and diagnostics to make sure that there are no errors. Finally make sure you have switched off the underflow diagnostics for the channel.
