Thank you for the very prompt reply.  I see the problem.

My local Siemens office gave me a DVD with all of the files compressed into on disc.  Looks like I need to separate these out.

Task is - To replace MP277 8" Touch HMI to TP 900" Touch HMI.

HMI connected with Simotion.

1.During Device proxy creation after migration of HMI project from copy from step7 done into TIAv13 - Error comes during initialization that "PLC_Device Proxy fails" reason - unknown

2.Migrtation -  D435-2DP , S120 and HMI MP277  to Only change TP900

Split from Problem Migrating Project to TIA V13.

Can you please also give a list of necessary software required to install for migration.

I had install -

TIA v11 , V12, V13 , V13sp1 except startdrive.

Socut v4.4 and scout TIA v4.4

Hello,

for migration you need generell:

Step7 V5.5
Simotion Scout V4.4
Wincc flexible 2008

Tia Step7 V13
TIA Wincc V13
Scout Tia V4.4

The exact Versions you need depends which version you wil use.
If you use SIMOTION >=V4.4.0.5 then you need TIA V13.0 SP1 !

If you will only migrate the HMI part you must deintegrate the WinCC from the SImotion project and migrate only the HMI, then you can use the PRoxy Device in TIA to connect the Simotion to the Panel.
