MICROMASTER, what can I do with F231?

This fault indicates you potentially have a short circuit or earth fault in the Motor or the Motor Cable.

Remove the motor cable from the output terminals and perform an insulation resistance check on the cable.

Also check the motor phases are balanced, it is best to use a low-resistance ohm-meter for this, but a standard DVM might show some sign of imbalance.

As there is no encoder, you can try and run the drive in V/F mode with no motor attached, you will need to set P077 = 0 (If it is not already set). The drive should run without fault, but there may be some alarm.

F231 = difference for the output current measurement

The reasons for fault message F231 are quite diverse and extend from system,

I guess it´s a defect IGBT, and I suggest to trash the inverter.
