Exchage data between two cpus via 342-5 for 315 and IF for 416

Hi,

I have a bigger problem.

I have a 416-3dp as the main controller and a 315-2dp as the local controller.these CPUs are not even in the same multiproject and it's not possible integrate the projects. Now I have exchage data between two cpus via 342-5 for 315 and IF for 416.I don't know how.It's an urgent.

Can mr hosseini and other friends help me please?

You should create a new topic for a new problem.. this will simplify the life of the forum managers.

When you create a data exchange using the S7 connection and both PLC are in the same project, it is really easy to do.

When you want to exchange data between two PLC not in the same project using S7 connection, you need to pay attention to the TSAP of the S7 connection.

You will have to do add an S7 connection in both project with an unknown partner.

Then, you will have to pay attention to the TSAP of the local and remote partner.

Let's say:

TSAP of 416 is 10.01

TSAP of 315 is 11.02

In the project of the 416, the local TSAP will be 10.01 and remote partner TSAP will be 11.02.

In the project of the 315, the local TSAP will be 11.02 and remote partner will be 10.01.

I did it several time and it works.

You mean that I should select "unspecified" as the connection partner??

Another point, which operating mode should I chose for cp342-5 on s300 side??

Which function I'm supposed to use? (S7-400 side is pcs7)

Do u have any sample project??

You have to modify it a little bit but I hope it will be helpful!
