Reading of two HSC simultanaouly

prathap k s Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Dear all I am using two high speed counter(HSC) in my program. Those two are inputs from different devices. The frequency to be measured is 150Hz. The Problem which i am facing is i am not able to get the reading in HSC simultanaouly. I have enabled the both HSC at frequency mode. any suggestion to control these inputs. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from HSC Counter Configuration - two phase counting input .

If you attach here some sample program or some screen captures, we might be able to see for ourselves what the issue is. Provided that it is a software issue.. It is not impossible that you have an issue on the hardware. You can trying making a small program to use a regular input with counter to check if the inputs can be read from the hardware. Maybe there is some voltage drop or signal grounding issue as soon as you have x2 devices powered. Also make sure the filtering time on the inputs you are using for the HSC, is not set at the default values. w

SIemens should fix it for you when you enable the HSC, but they do not... William_B Also make sure the filtering time on the inputs you are using for the HSC, is not set at the default values. w
