Hello,Please anyone explain about Remote I/Os and Distributed I/Os..and what's the role of ET200S?? Is it a standalone system..........

 ET200s is a system IM(interface module), PM(Power module) that powers other modules, EM(electronic module)...

It can be stand-alone with a IM151-7 or IM151-8 as a CPU or it can be a distributed I/O-system as slave or device on a Profibus- or Profinet-System whit e.g. IM151-1 for Profibus.
