Hello, can someone give me some help. I am using TIA PORTAL, CPU 315-2. 
I have a one analog input (4--20 mA) for my temperature, and one analog output (4-20 mA) for my valve for cooling system. 

Is it good solution to use CONT_C for this system. I want to keep my analog input (temperature) in some limits. Can you give me some advice for good solution ?

for temperature-control better use TCONT_CP. This is a Continuous temperatrure-controller with pulse generator. Description in TIA-Help is very extensive.

What if my output is not analog? My valve is some kind of motor valve, and i have two signals, one for open valve, and other is for close valve. What PID you would recommend?
