Are you able to write a large number of characters for field “Identifier”???

for example :100 characters

if you open the online help of the dialog window "Properties - Input/Output" you can find the information that the option "Identifier" is on visible for I/Os which are not data type BOOL and the system attribute "S7_shortcut" is set. The identifier you enter must not exceed a maximum string length of 16 characters.

So I would say that it is not possible.

Is not any way to display more characters in faceplate???

Hi PLC2011,

You can write for Text 0 " Emergency OFF" and for Text 1 " Emergency ON" and when change your signal 0-1 you will see it will be change from "Emergency OFF" to " Emergency On" 

İt so user friendly ..

And what do you want about more characetr for face plate ?

for some Interlocks should be written  great characters

for example:MV Incoming2 Undervoltage

or  FLUID COUPLIG Is UNCLAMP OR 30S AFTER RUNNING

or Damper XB02B Is Closed OR 30S AFTER RUNNING
