Sinumerik 840D, Axis C problem, alarms 300507, 25201, 21612 appear

Hello!!

I have a problem with a control Sinumerik 840D in a grinding machine; the alarms appears are: 300507, 25201, 21612. The problem is in axis C.

I checked the cables but I didn´t find something strange. Can somebody help me??

Split from Alarms 21612, 300504, 25201.

 1st I hope when you post question with alarms writing here alarm text as well, or I need to check for you waste my time. Here alarm 25201 and 21612 are additional error, they are cause by alarm 300507. special for 25201, any drive fault will following by this one.

So 300507--do you check if your C axis is Non-Siemens motor--going to Start up--Machine Data--Drive MD--alert Motor data (but make sure don't change only see) you will know --find out encoder information as well in measuring ...menu.

Non Siemens motor, Non standard encoder, when you new installation new replace motor, you need adjust encoder zero mark mechanically and electrical match.

300507 is not only check cable, some time your need check encoder or re-adjust encoder.

some times it possible lost synchronous, you need to re-adjust . if readjust is fail, it is possible you need replace encoder.

There is step-by-step sequence in the m/c builder manual normally--if your m/c builder is friendly.

You can try to move encoder for some angle such as 20 degree. then follow their step to make synchronization.

The key MD is drive MD 1075, check manual to get its meaning and some related MD.

Alarm 300507 - 

So please check the encoder cable especially C & D track wires continuity.  Try by swapping encoder cables of faulty axis & other healthy axis. If the same alarm displays with the same axis ID, then axis motor encoder is faulty. Try by replacing an equivalent motor.
