Please, does anybody have an example with the configuration control for S7-1200? It seems to be easy. I followed the instructions, but it does not work in my project.

   I could not understand actually what you mean by configuration control for S7-1200. Do you mean replacing a S7-1200 series CPU in your configuration ?

Confugration Control (Option Handling) mean that you can configure the I/O Modules in the PLC Rack, so that not all projected modules must be present.

I am afraid, the suggested solution and library is not working. The PLC cannot be switched to the RUN state. The WRREC inctruction returns status C080_B800: "DP slave or module reports an invalid parameter"...

Has anybody used the configuration control (with 1200)?
Would anybody be willing to provide a working example?

I have created one sample application.

S71200+ 2DI/DO

Option 1: CPU+DI/DO+DI/DO

Option 2:CPU+DI/DO

This option can be select thru watch table  OH.INT= 0 for option 1 and give warm restart after selection of any one option

OH.INT=1 for option 2.

thank you very much for the example.

I replaced your CPU with my 1215C, but the result was the same. After I have enabled "Allow to reconfigure the device...", the CPU is staying permanently in the STOP state. I tried switch to START manually and MRES as well as Reset to factory setting but without any success. I had to disable "Allow to reconfigure..." and then the PLC works normally. :-(

I assume the SW is OK, but HW probably not.

If yes please tell use which modules you use exactly, and which modules you configure for the Option handling.

Initially i faced same problem like CPU goes to stop mode but after enabling allow configuration control and warm restart- run with OB100 it worked perfect.. can you send ur code and detailed diagnostic buffer of CPU.
