OPC client write problems

Hi,

I am facing the similar issue. I am communicating to a 3rd party system via OPC communication and the 3rd party OPC client is able to read all the values. While the OPC client is trying to write some value to the WinCC, the written value is visible upto Tag Management in WinCC OPC server. But the same is not reflected in DB where the tag is created. Please advise.

Split from Reading/writing OPC in CFC.

The problem got sorted out when I created a new DB and again mapped the OPC tags. Btw where we can set the Read/Write properties of the tag?
