Dear all,

I'm using 14 , G120C PROFINET vfd.  There is a fault F8501 after every  10-15min  .I want to mask the F8501 fault.

There is no BUS fault in VFD during that fault generation time .

I want to mask those fault . So , how Can i do that !!!

What about changing of youre fault response? Have you done already this?: p2100[0] =8501 and p2101[0]=0.

Can we configure it a way that, if there is a communication break (profit ) then VFD should trip?

 As a variant, consider such alarm as A08526 (No cyclic connection). Watch on this. If It pops up just after PN cable disconnection, that's you need. You can easily turn this alarm to a fault with consequences of OFF1 or 2.

I have changed Parameter p2100[0] =8501 and p2101[0]=0. Now, IF there is F8501 then my VFD is in Run mode, but I am getting a TRIP signal in PLC( which i have bypassed for the time).

Can I Block the Trip Signal From VFD for this Particular Parameter F8501. So that if overload Current is there VFD should TRIP.

all those measures that were written above must be accepted as temporary measures only. So to speak, to give you some time to find a true reason that causes F08501.

So my suggestion you need to be focused on figuring out why this fail comes.

 i am also getting this fault ..please share with me solution if you have found

I was able to mask fault 8501 using parameters 2118 and 2119.

Set 2118[x] to 8501 and set 2119 to [3] No message (N).

With my application, all drive control is done over hardwired signals and so no Profinet communication is needed.

I did not have a parameter 2040 and p2100/p2101 did not mask the fault for me.
