wincc v7.0 to wincc v7.4 migration problem

Nalti Advanced Member Joined: 1/31/2013 Last visit: 11/14/2024 Posts: 34 Rating: (0)	I have a new touch panel with wincc v7.4, my project is opened in wincc v7.0 sp1, when I make the project migration it appears with a problem migrating database, then I opened a new wincc proj at wincc7.0 put all the data(not all) of the old project to the new project, it worked but the tags are missing. Made tag import/export to the new project it doesnt take all the tags and at the same place.I have to say that the original project dates from 2003. Someone help please..

Hi naldi

According to Migration Manual

In principle, upgrading directly to WinCC V7.4 SP1 from V6.2 SP3 is possible.
We recommend an intermediate step via WinCC V7.2
