Need to create a user hmi interface where user can create, edit and save data into a database - can create it in TIA?

I need to create a user hmi interface where user can create, edit and save data into a database. One ingredients table, one recipes table with percent ingredients quantities, and an production order table width recipe quantity batches to produce. Can someone tell me if TIA is able to do the job? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hello Miguel Tavares if you have a Runtime System like WinCC Advanced RT or WincC Professional RT you can use VB Script to connecto to an Database with ODBC Connection like this: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/61883659 But on a WinCE Panel like Comfort Panels there is no possibility to connect with Database through VB Script. bye Murof |

Thanks, I will try that. But seems that Tia Portal is quite limited in this matter.... |
