How area parameters used?

Hi Guys.

I have a doubt about to:

KS NN = No source / destination parameters in the block. Parameters have to be in the CP.

How area parameters used? DB number, start and end number....

There is a description of the parameter of "your" FB120 (chapter 4.4.2).

In my opinion should this documentation a good help to answer your questions.
The examples are also very helpful.

Hi Julczar. The FB120 call you have shown is commonly known as the 'Send All' command when configured at QTYP with 'NN'.

This is used to send data from a CP card to the CPU. You will probably find that FB120 is also called at least one more time from somewhere within your program.

Configuring it with QTYP 'DB' for example is used when you want to transfer Datablocks from one PLC to another. The two calls work in tandem to send the data from CP to CP , then from CP to CPU locally.

A call to FB120 might look something like this.

JU FB120

SSNR 0,4                Address of CP card set by jumper connections.

A-NR 0,1                 Job number in the CP card config. Set with Com535 for example.

ANZW  FW200       This is the status word for the call. Tells you what going on.

QTYP   DB              Send a Datablock

DBNR 0,100           Send DB100

QANF +1                Start sending at dataword 1   

QLAE +32               Send 32 words

PAFE FY202           Status of the job.

In the partner PLC , a send job would have a receive job partner. Both PLC''s would have Send All , Receive All , with QTYP NN
