Sometimes RTD Signal fluctuating and make equipment stop

Dear friend,

Have you fixed problem with fluctuation of RTD signal? I am facing the same matter but so far, we can not fix this matter. Sometime RTD signal was fluctuated and make our equipment stop. It happened not only when motor running but also motor stop. We checked connection, value of resitance and grounding calble but did not find any abnormal. This matter happened with many position in our plant.

If you have fix it, please share your countermeasure.

Use Shield cables. It seems that your cables are running within high ammount of noise which negativelly affecting the RTD readings!

Shielded cable and groundig as close as you can to the PLC/ remote often is the solution to avoid noice.

Use cable clamps to ground your wire to the mounting plate.
