About 414-4H CPU fault - INTF and EXTF lamps are flicking rapidly

Hello,

Please explan to me about below problem,

I am using the 414-4H CPU, but I have one problem.

When power supply power on, INTF and EXTF lampsare flicking rapidly on the CPU.

What is problem?

I am sorry, but with your mentioned information’s it is hard to determine the cause for this behavior.

In your case I would start to check if the two CPUs used by you have different IDs. One needs to be 1 and one needs to be 0. It is not possible to haveboth to be set as 1 or both to be set as 0.I hope the CPU you use does use the up to date sync modules which do not allow the settings of the System ID anymore.

If these settings are OK I would start to check the diagnostics buffer, if there are any entries in there which could be a hint about the problem.

Additionally I wonder if the behavior you mention is shown at an already configured system or if the system is right out of the box.

Lastly I would check the FW version of the PLC’s. Ifthe version is lower than FW V 4.5.2 for the 4H*14 version or V 4.0.11 for the 4H*04 version you should upgrade to this version.

hi

i have same problem on PLC 414h but i can not  connect to PLC by PC

please note  i updated to v 3.1.5 by memory card but problem is same as before(INTF  & EXTF blinking)

please help me and let me know whats solution for solving this problem
