Logging value into datablock

pb01 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	I want to log the value of an IW into an datablock every second. I know that i must use OB32. How can write the value to the next dataword of the datablock without using an shiftregister? first time that OB32 is called I want to write the value of IW4 into DB100.dbw0 next time that OB32 is called I want to write the value of IW4 into DB100.dbw2 next time that OB32 is called I want to write the value of IW4 into DB100.dbw4 etc.

I use only 10 array of DINT in DB2 so I put L#2 for BUFFER_DB and L#1 for NEW_REGISTER_DB. This mean the data that I want to feed to and extract from Data Bank is located in DB1.DBW0 right? When I give command INSERT AT BEGIN and INSERT AT END it works fine. But when give command extract, it extract the data but the data seems tobe not shifted. For example here is the data in data bank looks. Before : DB2.DBD0 = 13 DB2.DBD4 = 12 DB2.DBD8 = 11 DB2.DBD12 = 10 DB2.DBD16 = 14 DB2.DBD20 = 15 Then I give command extract at begin, the data bank looks like DB2.DBD0 = 12 DB2.DBD4 = 11 DB2.DBD8 = 10 DB2.DBD12 = 14 DB2.DBD16 = 15 DB2.DBD20 = 15 Then I give command extract at end, the data bank looks like DB2.DBD0 = 12 DB2.DBD4 = 11 DB2.DBD8 = 10 DB2.DBD12 = 14 DB2.DBD16 = 15 DB2.DBD20 = 15 Please advice where did I made a mistake? regards dedi bin mulyadin
