Timer in Seconds

That value stored in a Datablock and used in a Timer. My Problem: That valuewas assumedin Milli Seconds by the Timer. I can't convert that value in Seconds. Please give me a suggestions.

Aristotelis Posts: 147 Rating: (34)	Hi If the user enters a value in seconds, you can multiply it by 1000 in order to get milliseconds. You then use this value (the factor of 1000 * user_value) in your timer. What do you mean selvkumaar I can't convert that value in Seconds. Best regards

bobec Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	In your I/O events call set value for the user to set the seconds in a tag then right under it call linear scaling event and put 1000 in the "a' variable. Make a new tag for Y and designate it a Dint and use the same address as the time variable for your timer. If you need the setting to be retentive then the input seconds tag will have to be passed to retentive tag in the PLC. I just did this for Pump run time setting on lead/lag.
