Unfortunately isn't possible. You need a a blank SIMATIC MC 24MB. More info at

endix Posts: 5 Rating: (1)	I use 2GB SD card and reduce it to 24MB card. Unfortunately, the upgrade failed. Is there any help how update firmware without siemens card (it is to expensive).

MM1234 Posts: 270 Rating: (53)	Hello endix, I have been looking into similar problem recently-bigger non supported card has been formated to 24 MB and it didn't work. UMENCHO is right and if you look into the links he posted, they even warn you not to format even the original card, because it wouldn't work then. Perhaps you might try to get the card lend from your local support or something like that, though, or get a hang of someone who has it.
