So if the DBx in load memory contained an array of 10 structures and DBy in work memory contained just one structure, could you read a random element, let's say element number 5, from the array in DBx to DBy? If yes how would you construct the address in SCL to point to element 5 of the array instead of an absolute address like P#DB3.DBX0.0 BYTE 6? Is it possible? If yes, it would help me tremendously in my project.

Hi,

here there is a sample programthat usesREAD_DBL.
It copys the DB2 to DB3.
The DB2 has a atribute "Only sotre in load memory" and could not be monitored online.

To operate it, go to Watch_table_1: and set the "Start_to_read" variable.
Expected efect: DB3 becomes values 111, 222, 333.

I made a program with READ_DBL and WRITE_DBL. But the write block compiles with error : "Network 1,The reference information is inconsistent. The block cannot be compiled." 

I described here the whole problem, with attached project.

Do you have any S7-1200 write example?
