Refusal of CONNECT due to different structure of the part AS

TrueHeart Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Dear Experts, We are having some serious problem regarding redundancy of S7-400 H in an ongoing project.The standby Rack 1 CPU always goes into stop mode and the H system continues to run in solo mode.We have tried the following : 1. Memory reset of both CPUs and new harware config,netpro and sw download. 2.Trying to run the Rack 1 as master.The Rack 0 CPU goes to stop. 3.Check the Rack settings behind the CPUs and found OK. 4.Replaced both CPUs. 5.Replace H cables. The secondary CPU module information states the following : "Standby CPU Link up/update by Master CPU aborted. Cause : Refusal of CONNECT due to different structure of the part AS" Could anybody please help ...

You didn't mention something about memory cards and synch. modules. Please double check the part numbers and versions of the 4 synch. modules and also the memory cards. Can you try a small project with default CPU settings and a small program and download it to work memory of CPUs without memory cards? Do both CPUs work redundantly in this case? Can you swap synch.modules and see if CPU in Rack 0 is going to stop instead of CPU in rack 1? Best regards, H-H

TrueHeart Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Dear H-H, Thanks for your suggestion for rechecking. I have checked and found the memory cards of the CPU's to be different... Replaced the memory card and found the H system to be working ..Sorry for the unintentional omission ...thanks for the support.
