802C turret Control

alito Posts: 22 Rating: (0)	first, sorry for my english Hi everybody; I have a 802C BaseLine. I try to use it for a turning machine with a turret with 7 positions, each position have one input to the CNC. The question is: Can I with the 802C control the turret, e.g. select a tool and move the turret to the specific tool index? From the PLC program I can do this, but I expect some condition be crucial for the reliable functionment of the machine, like a tool_changed_ok, previuos to the next NC instruction. I can't find this variable either, NC -> PLC, PLC->NC. I now try to explain a little best, when I want a tool, e.g. tool 6 (T6), first I must know from the NC about this instruction (I don't know the variable of the NC->PLC) for the execution of the tool change cycle, once the cycle is running I think is necesary a PLC ->NC recognition when the turret cycle ends and before the next instruction (after the tool change) can be executed (I don't know the variable). thanks

OvidiuNastac Posts: 419 Rating: (19)	Hi For the tool number you can use the VD25002000 signal (is in the IS_AUX tab). When you start the tool cycle in the PLC you can set the V32000006.1 signal (Read in disable-which stop the NC program execution) and after you've made the tool change and everything is OK, you can then reset it. Respect to "launch tool cycle", I don't know what variable is setted when a tool change is executed in the NC such that I can use it for launch (execute) the tool cycle. So, I mencioned V25000001.4 like probable. really Thanks..
