Reinitialize DB

suppaman87 Posts: 42 Rating: (2)	Hello. Does anyone know how to reinitialize with the init value a DB in a S7-1200 cpu ? In the simatic manager i could download the DB or just do the command Initialize from the Menu. Now this command seems not exist anymore in the TIA. I cant even download the DB because for the software there are no different blocks from offline to online. For the moment change a variable name inside the db and then redownload completely the DB is the only way that seems working to me. But it's not really a great way..

You could create a 2nd DB with values that never change, and use those in the first scan as well as the re-init request to reset all your working DB values to initial or default state. Not pretty but without a recipe in an HMI, sadly the best I can come up with. If you are using your PLC online with your portal software, you can copy the inital values while in a watch table, then paste them all into the new modify values, then activate the update.
