Hello Avant, please take a look at this FAQ: What should you watch out for when running SIMATIC WinCC or SIMATIC PCS 7 with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 on PCs with multi-core or multiple processors? Best regards Bizur |

I have exactly the same problem when I try to install WinCC v.7.0 SP3 on my laptop X751L with Windows 7.0 SP1 x64 bit . As I know the WinCC Software uses the restricted version of MS SQL Server called "SQL for WinCC". Is it correctly to follow the link https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/954835 ? I have Intel Core i5-4200 CPU onboard : If I use the link https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/954835 then what should I use exactly : Method 1 or 2 or anything else ? Note pls, I need to install WinCC v.7.0 SP3 exactly cause the same version is on a running Operator Workstation with WinCC CS and WinCC RT (a Single User WinCC Project) |
