After downloading the hardware configuration getting error 02: 4009

IGIRI12 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	While trying to download the compiled software to the PLCSIM advanced instance after downloading the hardware configuration, I have this error message Event ID: 16# 02:4009 CPU error: Retentive data warning: Retentive data lost Current CPU operating mode: STOP (initialization) PLC_1 / PLC_1 Please, Can someone help me out? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from Application example Entry ID: 109737901, Entry date: 06/29/2018 .

The default values are kind of a pain. (So far) I always set the PLC to start running (the plc logic) after power up regardless of whether it was stopped when it was powered off or not. Are you loading just the hardware configuration first? Try that and see what happens. Screenshots - starting with the very first thing that happens related to the simulator being launched from within tia portal with you project open - and stepping through the various steps along the way until you get the error mentioned below - would be helpful to let us see what you see. Has the simulator ever worked for you? Has it ever worked for this project before? If so, what hardware changed and then you could not simulate anymore?
