Dear Specialists, Recently, we had encountered problems on Siemens Steam Turbine (rated 260MW)HP Main Steam Control Valve. (Rexroth Bosch Electrohydraulic Actuator, EHA) When the opening of the control valvefrom 14-15% to fully open, the fault on Operating Point comesfew timesuntil it reaches 100% , then the fault went off. In fact, sometimes it happened during half block operation whereby the position is maintain at 14-15% opening. The "Operating Point fault" and was evaluate by the output, FAP=1 from the Simadyn block, RSUE0F.M which is the Position Controller Monitoring Function Block. My question here, I am notsure how FAP is set to 1, as in the manual stated, The Operating Point AP is multiplied by Proportional Coeff. Operating Point KAP. This value is compared with Position Controller Output X . If X for a minimum time TAP goes outside the monitoring limit AP*KAP, the operating point is not matched and results in the alarm Fault Operating Point FAP.
