Hello Moreno; This is what we used anytime we had to face this problem: an active RS-485 resistor.
What is a PROFIBUS Terminator?The PROFIBUS terminator provides active termination for the bus. The major advantage of this is that bus nodes can be turned off, removed, or replaced without impairing data transfer. This applies in particular to the nodes at both ends of the LAN cable on which the terminating resistors would have to be activated and supplied with power. The PROFIBUS terminator can be installed on a standard rail. It requires 24 V DC power, and should work as well with USS, as it is a RS-485 termination module. You set it up next to the last node, with a piece of Profibus cable connecting it to the last node's connector. You can then remove, cut power to, or disconnect the last drive without affecting termoination to the network. Hello Moreno; Have a look at the following document, it shows termination resistor values for the USS bus, It is compatible with termination values of RS-485 networks.
