Hello cheichaa even though the S7-1200 has a "Profinet" port that you'll use for your Schneider HMI, the data exchange will be based on the S7 protocoland there is no need for a Profinet GSD file for it (you won't find a Profinet GSD file for a 1200 anyhow as thethey still do NOT support Profinet I/O Device functionality). As I haven't had the pleasure of connecting a Schneider HMI Panel to a 1200, I can only speculatewhy you can't establish a connection to it, so all I can offer are a few pointers: 1.) Can you exclude any physical connection problems? (perhaps it's as simple as a faulty Ethertnet patch cable). 2.) Are your HMI and S7-1200 IP addresses withinthe same subnet range? 3.) Does your S7-1200driver require you to nonimate a CPU Slot number or TSAP? If so, useCPU Slot number "01" (it is always "02" for S7-300 CPU's and the physical Slot number for any S7-400 CPU's and generally configured somewhere inside the SCADA/HMI S7 drivers). 4.) Have you used the correct address syntax for the tags that you want to read(every SCADA/HMI uses their own naming convention for this and this may be even different for 1200's and 300's in case of your Vijeo S7-1200 driver, please find and consult the manual for it as already advised by dchartier). 5.) Have you created your S7-1200 DB's in the 300/400 compatible non-optimized mode (if you used optimized mode, you won't know the DB tag address as TIA portal will take care of the DB structure and I doubt Vijeo S7-1200 driver can handle this)? That's all I can think of, please let us know what you find and I hope this helps |
