Hello, PID Controller functions are also categorized based on their output signal and the actuator they are handling: 1-Continuous output signals which is used for working on positioners. For this type of controllers,I can mention S(FB41) from integral controller package. 2-For "PID switching controllers with 2-step action" which is a combination of a continous controller and a pulse-width modulation function S(FB43). 3-For "PID switching controllers with 3-step action" which is used with integrating actuators (such as motorized operated vales),S(FB42) is utilized. Please note, selecting one of the above control strategies are done based on the type of process.Select the function which is near to your case.Refer to (Pid_test.zip) for sample on 3 scenarios.
