Dear Experts, Question regarding the hoist drive of the crane. The installed Sinamics S120 РМ340 90kW 6SL3210-1SE31-8AA0 is equipped with the braking resistor 6SE64004BD24-0FA0 (80kW for 12 sec in 240 sec cycle). This limitation is too low for the movement down with the full load. Resistor is overheated after few seconds. Is it possible to install the 4 braking resistor (2 serial and parallel) and have the same resistance 8,2 Ohm and dissipate power with longer duty cycle? In document "Engineering braking chopper operation" for Sinamics G120 and MM440 on page 15 there is an example (attached). Is it possible for Sinamics S120 PM? Which parameter (similar to P1237) must be adjusted in order to increase the duty cycle?
