Hello worldleader, The reason is somehow explained here:
To test the idea, I make an FC and call it in OB1. I download the program into the PLC and no problem would be appear while uploading and opening the blocks. (pic#1 in the attachment). Now, I change interface of FC1 by simply adding another input to the function, save it and download it without updating where it is called in OB1.Then I download FC1 to PLC. (pic#2 in the attachment). Now, I upload the program from PLC and see what happened.This is the case you are looking for.(pic#3 in the attachment). To avoid this case, simply when changing a block parameter, update it in all 'caller" blocks.More information in Chapter 15 of this manual.
