Hello medaadi I wonder if there is perhaps a misunderstanding. The CP342-5 (6GK7342-5DA03-0XE0) supports 244 Bytes of I/O dataper DP Slave (which is the general limit of I/O's any DP Slave can have). The overall I/O limit of a CP342-5 is though 2160 Bytes, so you shouldn't have a problem with 5 Siprotec DP Slaves. I hope this helps |

Perhaps this faq, might help: What should you watch out for when configuring a CP342-5 as DP master and why is it necessary to call the FC1 "DP_SEND" and FC2 "DP_RECV" functions in the user program of the CPU in order to transfer data? @edit: (Picture Amount of data)there is mentioned the amount of data when you use CP324-5 as Profibus Slave. hello I could only guess what is wrong without more detail, but suggest you have a good read of the What should you watch out for when configuring a CP342-5 as DP master and why is it necessary to call the FC1 "DP_SEND" and FC2 "DP_RECV" functions in the user program of the CPU in order to transfer data?to start with. The important things to check are: 1. Are your CP342-5 related Send and Receive DB's long enough? 2. Have the calls of the CP342-5 related Send and Receive FC's been adjusted? 3. What errors do these FC'sgenerate? 4. What error is in your CPU diagnostic buffer? |
