You have 1LA7 motors which should be fine at 25m. Since this is a recent retrofit, I guess you need to start looking at the verybasics. Are the motors truly connected in delta? I've used dozens of these drives using WEG, Siemens, SEW and even cheap sh*t Chinese motors with no problems. I think you have an installation problem. |

We use u/f control. I copied the drive configuration at my 1st post. We checked the motor connections and grounds. All motor cables are shielded. |

All motor cables are shielded. I think that may be your problem. Do not use shielded cable unless you have specific reasons to do so. Using shielded cable, without grounding it specifically to EMI specifications, causes voltage spikes. Sheilds cause capacitance which increase the peak voltage at the motor windings which cause the motor windings to burn up.. I'm expecting a bit of controversy here. |

The cable is 4x4 mm2 shielded. The ground cable is grounded at both side, Shields are only grounded on the drive side. |

Hello, The cause would be following reasons 1) Motor should be VFD duty Motor.Unless the Motor will get definitely burnt.We cannot use the Drives for all the Motors. 2) The distance between the Motor and and the Inverter should be less than 100 mtrs.If it is more than the 100 mtrs,you should use the output choke. 3) Did the Inverter got Tripped during the Motor failure? You're exaggerating saying that the motor will definitely get burnt if it's not vfd duty. Most general purpose motors will be just fine working with an inverter. In case of old motors you just have to use some additional output filters/reactors. |
