Iceman: This is a difficult one to troubleshoot from a distance! I checked your diag data and I'll recommend the following: 1. Make sure everything (WinCC runtime) is ok on the ES/Server level. That is, no errors. 2. You said you are able to ping the clients. How did you ping them -- name or IP addresses? You should be able to ping them using the computer name. That means you should check your lmhost files and terminal bus settings. 3. Can you see all the stations in the Simatic Shell? 4. Check and understand the following FAQ's: How do you use the SIMATIC shell to configure the terminal bus of a WinCC station? http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/25437381 How can you clear the error message "Download (310:88)"? http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/22559072 Why will the WinCC clients not communicate with the WinCC server? http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/18967416 Best Regards, Phantom |

Dear Phantom, Thankyou very much for the information. I had tried to ping server and clinets via ip address. But later when I will go on site I will check if I am able to ping them via there names. But I had accessed the server and clients via this command: \\server1a\d$ and viceversa. I guess there is no entry in the lmhosts file but I will check for this aswell. Also I will be checkingthe Simatic Shell configuration to make sure that all the servers, eng. station and clients are defined in it. Earlier I tried to delta download the project on the server but it was not possible.Site engineer told me that they had made some changes directly in the Wincc project of the server. due to which the eng. station is unable to delta download it. But still on wincc client I am able to see all the alarms and I can acknowledge them. Mimics cannot be viewd due to this SSMRT error Today I will try toregenerate the server packages and then complete downloading it to the servers. Kind regards, Iceman |
