Hi all, K2016: Good solution. I implemented a simple solution once for you to use as well: Use two timer_p blocks and interconnect the signal to both timer_p blocks (Input: In). Set the timer blocks to mode 2=on delay. For one timer block, invert the In input. When the signals freezes for more then 10 seconds (either FALSE or TRUE state), the timer_p sets output Out. You connect that to a OR port and the output of the OR signal is the alarm signal indicating the watchdog does not work. You can interconnect that signal to an alarm_8p so that an alarm is triggered.
