Hello everyone I want to use a transformer for insulation with a sinamics g120c 1.1Kw Do I have to connect the earth terminal to the core of the transformer or I don't need earth at all? Thank you ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hello, please see the attached connection example (taken from the S120 AC Drive Manual). PE needs always to be connected. If the secondary side of the transformer is in delta connection, all restrictions of an IT line supply apply! |

The magnetic core of the transformer should usually be connected to the ground for safety reasons. |
