An optinal link: In many of our projects we used Fieldbus Foundation distribution blocks from MTS, now a property of Relcom: http://relcominc.com/fieldbus/fcs-mb.htm These Megablocks allowed us to create distribution points (chicken-feet) of different number of connections, by combing blocks of various sizes (2,4, 8, 10 or 12 instrument drops).They worked very well, offered add-on termination blocks and integrated short-circuit protection (SpurGuard) at every junction. Hello rotsen; It took me a bit of time to find out, first, that you were right about the cancellation of the AFS and then to understand why no replacement/successor module was available. It seems that redundancy of the H1 bus is done now exclusively through 2 redundant Compact FF Links (mounted on a redundancy bus module), in a ring configuration with either an AFD or AFDISD. See the following screenshot, where the illustrations are taken from the PCS 7 Catalog, 2019 version (chapter 10).
