Hi Vinoth I'm sure you have checked M525.0. Have you checked cross reference for MD523, MD525, MW525 and MB525 for access from other functions? It's possible to have symbolic or direct access to both the dword, word, or byte which gives appearance of indirect addressing to the individual bits. Another possibility is the alarm is being generated via WinCC scripting. Did you check M525.0 tag in WinCC? |

Are you using CFC cross reference or S7 block cross reference? CFC cross reference will only show those memory locations used at the chart level. S7 cross reference will show memory locations used inside FC/FB. (including at FC level of compiled CFCs) If you used both methods and still come up blank you have inherited a lucky program that surely does some indirect addressing. You'd better start checking any of the FC or FB which are called in your CFCs for your modbus for ANY pointers and block moves using code 16#83 for memory area. Hopefully you have the source for those blocks. |
