Hello RaXmE96, Why do you want to establish communication with the HMI from all PLCs? Are you planning to develop graphics or control functions for each PLC using one HMI? Either do you have any other requirements? Please mention your requirement more detail in the forum, By the way, It's possible to establish communication between "n" number of PLCs to one HMI, As I understood, it seems you are thinking to have centralized graphics for a distributed number of PLC masters, It's easy on TIA portal, You can add "n" number of PLC (Diff. models) on a single TIA user project as well as your HMI, But, Your HMI should have portable communication port to communicate with all of your PLC, Then, Create S7 connections to all those controllers individually (using Devices and networks editor-Connections), You must use the same subnet whenever connecting with the same type of communication port, Complete your Configurations by mentioning PLC details on "Connections" hierarchy of HMI, List out your HMI tags (Group vise), Mention the "S7 communication link" on which your HMI tags can communicate with the respective controller, this can be done for individual tags of HMI. Later you can call these HMI tags where ever you want to use(on different screens, for different events), But, If you split your CPU and HMI project it will increase the complexity even though it is possible. each plc is controlling a process. Each of them has his own HMI .... and in the factory is themain hmi ... where you can control all the processes. |
