hello Reksei; Error code (hex)8090 is described in the System and Standard Functions manual, and shown in the screenshot below. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109751826 The length of the consistent data transfer for your CPU is 244 bytes max., based on the CPU technical data .Have you exceeded that limit? Please show us the hardware configuration for your C).06.00.00 slave, and the program code you have used for SFC 14, so we can help you evaluate the other 2 reasons this error code appears. Have you been using the information from this (or simil;ar) document for the data exchanges for the CU.06.00.00? You could test the access to data in from the salve by reading each data individually (using the data map for the CU.06.00.00), using MOVE instructions; this would show that the problem is really in the SFC 14 coding in your program. Dear dchartier, Thank you for your quick response. I also checked the basic manual for this function and checked data length. It's only 6 bytes (you can see it in the screenshot of hardware configuration) which doesn't exceed the limit and corresponds data structure. Yes, I was following the manual to which you provided a link. And also the basic manual for ABB Softstarter (installation and commissioning manual). I tried using BLKMOV function today but no success, error code (hex)8122. I can't attach more than one image to the post, so please follow this Google Drive link to see screenshots: [snip]. There you can find screenshots of Hardware Configuration (online window to see that communication is ok, configuration window for pdp-22 and configuration window for the CU) and screenshots of user program (first network is to transform input address from IWxxx format to hex and than two networks to receive and send data). Also in the software screenshot on top you can find the used data structure to store read data ("sw" structure, 6 bytes). GSD files taken from ABB website. Network type DPV1. Also I tried using SFC14 function outside the FB, using just Memory area with different data length (from 1 to 25 bytes) but still got same error. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
